Lying with Authority
This book needs to be read by every medical doctor, nurse, and patient. Its contents have the potential of improving the way doctors treat patients, as well as information that could improve your health and even save your life.
Dr. Dan E. Chesnut, a graduate of Oklahoma University Medical School in 1963, has been licensed to practice medicine for 44 years. He has treated thousands of patients with hundreds of different diseases.
In the introduction to the book, Dr. Chesnut writes: "There is nothing – no book, no research, no new discoveries that come close to the value of listening to patients and seeing patterns emerge over time. My biggest regret is that I waited too long to learn some great truths not taught in medical school and to undo the damage of authoritative lies during those early years."
